This card was inspired for two reasons; one was the beautiful colours chosen by the team on the Colour INKspiration challenge – here are the colours:
The second inspiration for my card was Emma Goddard’s card, a member of the Stampin’ Up!© Artisan design team (see her website: https://www.coastalcrafter.com/)
Here is my version using A LIttle Lace stamp set and this beautiful combination of colours.
Here is a close up of those faceted gems and cut-out flower images. Did you know that the large flower can be easily punched out using the Stampin’ Up!© medium daisy punch!! The small flower was really simple to fussy cut.
I also coloured one of the faceted gems with the Smoky Slate Blend to achieve the matching colour.
I love sequins!! Here was the perfect excuse to use the Seaside Spray sequins to highlight the sentiment.
I hope you enjoyed this card, I loved making it and being part of this colour challenge 🙂
Have a lovely Day!!
Welcome to my IndigoStampin blog. My name is Angela & I’m a Stampin Up© Independent Demonstrator in Brisbane, Australia.
On this blog hop you are joining myself & many other demonstrators from around the world, who love to make cards and offer their customers and followers lots of inspiration for their own papercraft creations!
I am very excited to share my projects for the upcoming product based cardmaking class, Daisy Lane!! I have cased and adapted ideas from the catalogue and other demonstrators to come up with these projects. Here is the details of this lovely stamp set:
For my first card I have used the Daisy Lane stamp set and the larger Daisy punch to make this Highland Heather coloured daisy. Although it is the focus, encircling the flower is the delicate fern stamp in this set, stamped in Mossy Meadow and then stamped off once using this same colour. This set is found in the current Annual catalogue & is a new red rubber Cling set.
My next card is designed for stamping only, just in case you don’t yet have the co-ordinating punch or want 3D flowers 😉 I’ve chosen Mossy Meadow again and then Melon Mambo for the daisies with a little daffodil delight on my dauber in the centre.
The inside of the card needs a daisy too, don’t you think?
This next card is an uses the new in-colour, Rose Rococo as the focus. This beautiful gingham paper is from the Designer Series Paper, 6×6 pack. A few carefully choosen sequins from the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment finsih this simple, but effective card.
The last card is a case from the catalogue, something I really enjoy doing to get me familiar with the crafting elements of a suite or set.
Melon Mambo daisies with the outrageous Perennial Essence Floral Centers to finish the flowers really star in this card. I’ve curled up the edges of the crumb cake cardstock and added all of the layers on a new in-colour Seaside Spray cardbase. A little bit of ribbon finishes this lovely card off.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog, hope you enjoyed my cards.
Anyone living in Brisbane is very welcome to contact me (soon!) if you’d like to attend this card class. You will make 8 cards (plus another one that is a Birthday card), enjoy a lovely afternoon tea and some crafty company 🙂 It will be held:

If you’d like to recreate these cards, here are the products I used:
Do you love Daisies??
I’ve always been a fan of these lovely perennial flowers and in the new annual catalogue Stampin’ Up!© has not only carried over the Daisy Delight stamp set from last year, but they have also introduced another co-ordinating Daisy set called Daisy Lane. Here is the new set:
You might recognise that large daisy flower shape, it matches the existing Daisy Punch (item no: 143713) and the punch fits this new stamp set too! And there is a new Medium Daisy Punch to fit the smaller flower in the Daisy Lane stamp set (item no: 149517) !
In this product based class we will use the Daisy Lane stamp set to create 8 cards (2 of 4 designs), enjoy a lovely crafting afternoon together and you will go home with your cards AND the Daisy Lane Stamp set!
Make one card to keep and one to send 🙂
I prep all the necessary supplies prior to your arrival and your stamp set will be waiting. If you can’t make it, I do offer a class to go for an additional fee (just to cover postage to you) that includes all the materials to make these cards (if you choose this option you will need to use your own ink and adhesives). Of course we will have afternoon tea too!!
All this for a $60 class fee, payable 2 weeks prior to the class on 30th June 2019. Of course if you’d like to order the matching medium daisy punch, just add $20 to the cost and you will receive the bundle at the 10% discount price.
When: Sunday July 14th 1-3pm
Where: Springfield Lakes, Brisbane Qld

I am introducing a new suite of Stampin’ Up!© products to you today. These beautiful crafting items are available to customers now and are found in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue!
This new catalogue gives us the ability to purchase a whole suite of co-ordinating crafting products with just ONE item number!! Of course you can also purchase items individually.
Get a coordinating selection of products with one simple purchase. The suite includes the stamp set and dies bundle at 10% off plus one each of the other items featured in photos below. Add ink, cardstock and adhesive to complete your project. In the case of the Bird Banter Suite that item number is: 152190
In this card a simple background was achieved by using the beautiful Designer Series Paper, and I have simply fussy cut the birds and branch from another sheet of the DSP. The sentiment (Love that font!) is from another new stamp set – called “Woven Heirlooms” – that I will show you more of in coming days 🙂
Here are the beautiful DSP papers (12 sheets: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs. 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) in this suite:
Here is a video made by Stampin’ Up!© on this lovely DSP:
The stamped images in the next few cards were all coloured with Stampin’ Up!© Blends, I’ve used these colours: Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Balmy Blue and Calypso Coral. The Free as a Bird stamp set uses a lovely flowing script for the font and includes many friendship orientated sentiments.
That lace ribbon is so soft and easy to tie bows with too!
In the next two cards I’ve used a pre-made laser-cut cardbase (12 full size cardbases and matching envelopes in a gorgeous tin) added some dsp and also used the Stitched Nested Label dies to cut the stamped bird image. Can you see where I used the Bird Ballad trinkets? There are 4 designs in this suite that really set the other elements off beautifully.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this little introduction to the Bird Ballad suite of products in the new annual catalogue. Any questions or comments, please email me (here) or comment on my blog.
Have a lovely day!
